Actor Putla Sehlapelo has joined M-Net's The Wild in the place of Tony Kgoroge who left when agreement couldn't be reached on a contract for the new soap that will start on Monday 4 April at 18:00 on the pay broadcaster and will run Mondays to Thursdays.

Putla Sehlapelo is reshooting all of the scenes in which Tony Kgoroge appeared - about a month's worth of episodes. ''The Wild has confirmed Putla Sehlapelo to its list of local stars,'' M-Net says in a just-issued statement of the actor who've appeared in dramas like Society and Intersexions and the soap Muvhango. Putla Sehlapelo will portray the role of Tiro Lebone, a young millionaire and the brother of Connie Ferguson's character.

Tiro Lebone is described as an ''eligible bachelor who gets the attentions of all women, yet he still hasn't met a woman that captures his heart.''
